Question about 2012 Ford F-150
Ignition key broke in half and spare dosn't start engine
If the new one is not programmed you you may be able to get it started if you hold the old key close to the ignition while starting it with the new key. You will have to get the new key programmed.

You can go to a ford dealer and they will use your vehicle info and make you a new key.(ford keys are expensive)You can use a pair of tweezers to remove broken key.If that don't work you may need to call a lock smith.
