Change bulb in heater controls

you need to remove center dash assembly to unscrew the heater control assembly once you pull out the heater control assembly you should have access to the rear where the tiny bulb is and you will need the number marked on it or in your owners manual in specs lights some auto parts dont have the same size since there are many models and sizes you might have to buy from dealer and they have to order so look around to find one

3G Mitsubishi Eclipse Climate Control Light Bulb Replacement

The control panel for the heater and A/C must be removed. Suggest you get Chilton's manual from the library. It will take you through step by step with pictures. To summarize: 1) Remove trim panel covering radio and heater controls. 2) Remove radio. 3) Disconnect the two heater control cables from the control panel. The trick to removing the cables is to compress the "claw" spring holding the cable by pressing a screwdriver from the underside of the control panel to release each cable.4) Remove control panel. Take to a workbench. From the backside of the control panel at the top, notice two large holes through which you can access the V2 Toshiba bulb holders. Turn them a quarter turn to remove them and the bulbs. The bulb is a common #74 bulb.

How do I know if the bulb or ballast is bad? Light will briefly come on sometimes and then go out which leads me to believe its the ballast. 2007 Escalade

Regarding the headlight, usually you have to try a new bulb and see if the condition persists. If it does then replace the ballast next.

The seat heater probably has a broken filament so the heater is an open circuit. That requires a new seat-heater element.

As far as the defroster, call a glass shop (one that does automotive) and see if they have the ability to repair it. The odds are that you will need to replace the glass : (

06 vw golf.....driver side led mirror indicater not working fuses ok is it possible to replace led unit only or complete mirror

If you are a DIY person, there is nothing impossible. Remove mirror glass by prying it with your fingers and be gentle. Remember that it is fixed to two axis mount to be controlled lateral and vertical. Also there can be a heater circuit. After succesfull removal of glass you will need to replace individual led bulbs. Probably you will find they are SMD typ leds. So it will also require extreme attention on soldering them on pcb and try to solder them very fast since smd leds are not resistant to heat.

1972 corvette brake light bulb wont come out

Take a small piece of cloth and cover the bulb then squeeze it with a pair of pliers and break the bulb. Throw the cloth away. Safety glasses would be good here. Or wiggle the glass part untill it seperates from the base. You choose. Take an awl or a small screwdriver and get between the bulb base and the socket. Now put a small needle nose pliers into the opening squeezing the bulb base and twist the plliers rolling up the side of the base, decreasing it's diameter. Push and turn and the bulb will come out. Go to a plumbing shop or plumbing supply and buy a fitting brush for 1/2" copper fittings. Clean the corrosion out of the socket, put a coating of dielectric grease into the socket. Do the same to the other sockets if the bulbs in them will come out. If they won't, you know what to do. Former 64 Corvette owner. I miss my 31 Ford Tudor Sedan more!

Rear window heater

There is a timer circuit that controls this heater, this is a safety feature to turn it off before the glass gets to hot, check that timer, that is the usual problem.
