I missdealing w/ 1/2 " x 10" long piece of hose it comes out of the water pump to? i do not know

I got a problem w/ a serial of 1/2 inch thick hose that come out of the water pump to dont knowwhere it goes please

SOURCE: Blew the heat pump hose.

if the broken off piece in the engine comes out by screwing or whatever you can probably find one at the parts store or god knows the dealer

I have the same problem (01 Galant) replaced the water pump, radiator, thermostat housing, the hose, its the pipe under the car(near drivers seat) , going from the water pump to the thermo housing > What is that pipe called? anyone?

No heat out vents/floor vents


usually the problem is a small vacuum leak for the hvac system. start by checking the small plastic hoses near the a/c drier (the black cylindrical thing) at rear of engine compartment on the passenger side. typically it is a black plastic hose about 1/8 inch thick. you car repair by using a short piece of vacuum hose as a splice to put the two pieces together, make sure the hose fits snuggly on the plastic hose. hope this helps

Rent a fan clutch removal tool from the parts house. Pull the whole unit out of the truck. There are 4 little bolts holding it on.

Water drippinjg from above serpentine belt where lower radiaotor hose connects. water is not coming from hose coming from the silver piece


That is your thermostat gasket. Easy and cheap to replace. If you do it you might as well just buy a new thermostat since the cover will be off and they are cheap.

hi if it's coming from the water pump then it's the water pump but to be sure you can use a piece of garden hose and put it close to where you hear the noise and listen to it through the hose

Water leak next to block behind water pump.


i have a 1999 ford explorer v8 5.0 and it is leaking right behind the waterpump. but not from the pump, about 5 inches behind the pump, like by the block, what is it?
