Question about 2002 Ford Escape
There is no key hole on the outside of the door. There is only the handles to unlatch the window, and to unlatch the door. It seems that the door won't unlock, because I do not hear the door unlock sound coming from that area at all.
Anyone know how to help me get it open? I don't have a lot of money, so I can't take it to Ford, and have them fix it for me for hundreds of dollars.
I got mine fixed for a hundred or so by an auto customizing shop. The problem was the actuator on the lock mechanism. I bought a new actuator from them and was going to install myself but when I took off the interior panel, I decided to have them do it. No trouble since
