Mine did this once. inside the truck by passenger door is a small plastic cover. it pops right off. there is a button that resets your fuel pump. might be why your truck wont turn over. my truck is designed to have fuel pump shut off if in a accident or some kind of sudden jolt, in my case from a wild night of offroading. if this is your case, simply pushing the button will reset it. plastic cover is down by passengers right leg.

When starting the truck it turns over but won't start unless I turn it on and off several times

if the vehicle cranks and will not start, but when you cycle the keyon and off with a few second interval. by doing this you are priming the fuel line, if it starts after priming the system then i would look into the fuel system. would need to know exact details to give a more pin pointed answer

When i turn the key to start the truck upit turns to run but wont go to start, it turns all the way but doesnt start

Not much to go on---but I'll try here.

Ok first thing check to see if truck is in park---sometimes it may be in park but the park switch will not start truck unless the switch is depressed.

try putting truck in neutral with foot on pedal to start truck-----if starts the problem is with the switch.

If not, then you have a ignition switch problem---there is an ignition switch box under the dash on topside of steering column with has adjustment screws mounted to column.

loosen screws and slide ignition box toward the steering wheel to achieve the start position of the ignition switch box to start truck.

the fuel when is dead does not run gas up to th engine. so yess if the fuel pump is dead it will NOT start but WILL turn over. The battery, ignition and starter all make the truck turn over
