Your air spring has leak. Replace air springs. I replaced those with Arnott system and solved problem.

1994 lincoln continental executive rear end goes down when the car is parked few hours.


When the key is off, the air suspension shouldn't lose any air, so you could have a valve leak in the system. I'm not familiar with all the components of the system, but did you check the valve that allows the system to bleed off pressure for leaks when the system is turned off?

check for leaks in the lines, also check to see if the shocks have air leaks.

Linconl continental 1994 fron air suspension dont work


spray the bags and lines down with soapy water and look for a air leak also at the valve block under the hood i think napa has a kit to change them to a spring system cheaper then new bags

I had my rear suspension fixed but noticed when I park the front end goes down only when parked. It raises when I start the vehicle.


I think this car has air assist ride. Settles at rest, raises at some speed or upon start. Based on my assumption and what you said you had done, I would speculate that the rear suspension air control was not incorporated into the system.

This is a question you should ask your mechanic. BTW - I am not a Lincoln mechanic.

95 Lincoln mark 8 check air ride light goes on sometimes, but car suspension always stays up...do you know what this means? and how I can correct or reset check suspension light from going...


This is most likely caused by an erratic signal to the Air Ride Computer from one of the suspesion height sensors. You will have to scan your Suspension Control Moduleto find out which one.

How to fit rear air suspesion on discovery 2


You'll need to get the compressor, air lines, rear air bags, height sensors and access to a Nanocom, Rovacom, T4, Testbook, or IDS to turn the air suspension on in the SLABS ECU and BCU. You may also need to get the right wiring harness, though you may be lucky and already have it all fitted.
Oh, and also the right mounting points for the air bags as they are different to the ones for springs.
Don't forget to disclose the modification to your insurance.

Rear suppenion low to the ground


There is an air compressor mountedmabove the rear suspension. The fuse for the air ride suspension is located behind the trunk rear trim panel. There is a level sensor on the rear control arm. If fuse is good, check for power at plug feeding compressor, compressor failure common. With suspesion at low position, sensor should send power to compressor. if no power suspect height sensor. Check relay for power and operation although failure rare.

The air suspension control module is diagnosed using Super Star II Tester 418-F045 (007-0041B) or equivalent.
The test connector used to communicate with the air suspension control module is located on the RH side of the luggage compartment.
When the tester is connected, the engine is started and the HOLD/TEST button is latched down, the air suspension control module will respond sending a code 10 to the Super Star II Tester which represents "Diagnostics mode entered." If diagnostic trouble code (DTC) 10 is not displayed, go to Pinpoint Test A.

I have a 97 MKVIII with a mal-functioning  air suspension system. Parked on level ground the front end suspension depresses overnite. and upon starting it comes back up in the morning. It sometimes will...


leaks can be difficult to find in these systems. They could be in the air springs themselves, the air lines etc... not to mention you could have a ride height sensor that is malfunctioning or the control module.
