Day time running light vw passat

My day time running light on a 2005 passat quit working. Only on the passenger side. Checked the bulb and fuses, all good. High beam works too. I just can't figure it out.

I have a 2012 VW Jett 2.5 SE. My passenger side running light suddenly stopped working. The bulb has been replaced, the socket checked. What can be done to fix this?

Two things: 1. German cars are known to be very sensitive to the brand of bulb you replace, make sure you get it from a VW dealer, 2. also, on some German cars they actually individually fuse some of the lights, so check the fuse box for a blown fuse.

3. Bad ground somewhere in the circuit. Check if the socket is grounded properly

Headlights don't work in a 2006 VW Passat. Running lights work and bright lights work. I can't find the fuse box to check the fuse.

This same thing happened to me... Took it to a VW dealer and ran diagnostics... found nothing. After days of frustration I found it wasn't a fuse problem at all. Replaced the bulbs with "Bright Whites" from Napa... After replacing the bulb I still had trouble with right side, it took several attempts to install it properly, before it worked. Had to do this against the garage door to be able to tell when they were working properly. Therefore, I found that it was all in the way I was installing it.

Vw passat 2001 have no headlights working but the high beam and side lights are all ok, any ideas

I would first check the fuse for the lights. It could be blown bulbs but odds are they don't blow at the same time. Sometimes when the bulb blows, the fuse goes too so you could also need a new bulb. Good luck!

2004 vw passat - one headlight out but bulb is

The filament in every bulb acts like a fuse. Also the fuse block may have fuses for your lights. Some cars do and some do not. If the fuses are good, more than likely a short in the wiring could be the problem. The switch is good if one light comes on you know

Front driver turn signal quit. changed bulb, worked for short time, then quit. bulb OK. passenger side quit 1-2 months later. bulb OK. neither front emergency flasher work. automatic daytime front lights...

Check for head light (daytime)relay to be bad, this might have to do with the turn signals also,if the turn signals on this car, also have running lights in them,If this relay is not bad, replace the body control module.

If this is the light on the right side fender, you should be able to pop off the lens to replace the bulb. Use a screwdriver but be careful to not scratch the paint.
