Delay on reverse

Other than changing the solenoid pack, I would
say your due for a complete transmission rebuild

That is what I would do,pull it & rebuild it, & do the
valve body updates

Once they slip or bang into gear, you have internal wear
& problems

I know of people that are on their 3 rd trans in a 2005 Expedition

Ford Trans are flawed when new, most of them & well known & can be fixed, but only when you build one

If you never change the fluid every 3 years, your done, with any vehicle

First gear hard banging noise

You have a failed & worn out transmission
Seldom do they go 150,000 without a rebuild
Pull it out,no need to keep asking or worrrying
Its done,I once owned a trans shop if that helps

My 93 GTP,3.4 When put in reverse to leave my yard has a sum what of a hard bang and shifts hard.I replaced the dog bone bone but thats not the problem. Would a worn CVC jiont do this? What could it

Cv joints usually knock or click, especially when turning. Open the hood, start the engine and while looking at the engine from the drivers seat put foot on brake and shift to reverse. if the engine jumps, must have a bad mount. also may try giving it a little gas while holding brake to make sure. also try it it drive as well. chances are its the trans mount going bad.

note: if there are any oil leaks that are getting the mount wet it will continue to fail.

Why is my 1998 dodge ram 2500 banging into gear

Your transmission bands are getting worn, you MAY be able to have the adjusted. Either have the adjusted, or rebuild the trans(Or go the cheap route, get a used trans!

Would it be my trans fercase making the banging sound i am hearing while driving, cause while driving it seems to slip into 4 wheel drive. i have replaced all universal joints both half shafts up front...

Banging noise can be caused by broken hand brake shoes inside rear brake drums or rear disk brakes. It gets stuck inside. I lived and learned this on Jeep ZJ.

Trans bangs into gear on acceleration, feels like 2nd to 3rd gear. I have 98K on this honda. Trans fluid was never changed. Checked trans fluid it is in spec, bangs into gear hot or cold. Also check engine...

In all probability, the transmission fluid has stopped doing its work. You should have changed ATF fluid and filter about 60k miles ago. Auto transmission on 1998-2002 Accords are notoriously weak. ( i own one). I would venture to say that you have abused the tranny beyond its possibilities. If D light is flashing, transmission computer has detected a problem. Change tranny oil and filter to see if you can save it but outlook is not good.
