Rear Noise on Honda CR-V when turning

it sounds like you brakes are bad or going bad, block front wheels so they cant move!!!! jack up the back of the crv till tires are 1" to 2" off the ground, put shifter in N stop and spinn back wheels by hand lision for the noise, it is probably the brake squeaker on the brake pad and needs to be replaced

It sounds like you have a u-joint going bad, most likely the one at the rear end. When you replace it get one that you can grease. Hope this helps.

Rearend prob.[noise]

Here are the common causes or rear end noises
Constant high pitched whine at all speeds: Pinion Bearings or Ring gear carrier bearings
Whine at steady speeds or whines on deceleration: Rear end gear set is worn and will need to be replaced.
Rumbling type of noises are caused by wheel bearings or a tire with a separated cord.

Grinding noise in rear end, not sure what it is yet, but i can't wait too long. can you help?

sound like brake shoes or pads are down to metal, remove wheel to check to see if they are metal to metal. If they are ok check the rear wheel bearings.

There is a hum/rumble coming from the rear end of the vechile. The tires are new, the brakes are good and the wheels turn freely when on a lift. The muffler is secure, the heat shield is secure.

This could be caused by several different things. First your rearend may be low of fluid. Second check for play in your universal joints or carrier bearing(on a split drive shaft). The other two things I can think of may be the rear wheel bearings or the rearend gears are beginning to wear.

TurnI get a rumble when turning backing up or going forward for the first 20 feet

this is a very common problem for the honda cr-v. all it is, is the rear differential fluid. change the fluid- (use honda genuine rear diff fluid) then drive the vehicle in several figure 8 turns and the noise will go away.- note you only need 2 quarts diff fluid for a drain and fill.- hope this helps
