Repaired a vacum leak that helped, liked i stated b-4 engine races up and down without moving acc. pedal. b
May be the Idle air Control Valve (IAC) . Suggest you do the search for both the TPS and IAC. There's a wealth of info on how to test, clean replace the sensors on the 3.8 engine.

Ok this is an internal transmission problem, the 1st thing to do is check the fluid level in the trans, do this only on a HOT transmission otherwise you will overfill the trans and damage it more, if the fluid is full and clean then the trans will need to be torn down, but this does sound like a low fluid level problem.

check the mass air flow sensor in the air breather,it may have fuzz from the air filter on it

a3342: Your code is for map sensor intermittent low voltage.
This car has on board diagnostic capabilities which is what AllDATA recommends doing first.

Could be the other coil pack. Be sure to check and clear all codes stored.
