Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a 11 TFT LCD Monitor with DVD US-DVD-1140 Ultrasonic Mounted on my roof of our van we turn it on it works but there is no sound can you please help us fix it thanks have a great Day!

Since the VIDEO (Picture) and Audio (sound) are Two separate and distinct functions (although they work in concert with one another) you can have either sound with a picture or visa-verse. If the audio is self-contained, meaning sound comes from internal speakers within the Monitor, then the problem can be a defective Audio section or short on the circuit board.
If the Speakers are the Honda sound system, then there could be a disconnect between the Monitor and the Honda sound system.

Yes...the yellow cable is your video feed. Connect that and you will have video again.

Headphone for DVD on 2006 Chrysler Town and Country

Just found this and it worked! Hope it does for you as well:
There should be a button on the DVD remote control with a headphone symbol on it. Make sure the headphones are turned on(red indicator on earpiece) and push the headphone button on remote. The headphones will only work in the back seats of the vehicle. Once you have audio to the headphones, you should be able to hit the AM/FM button on the radio and listen to the radio while back passengers use the headphones for video.

I just bought a 2005 Toyota Sequoia Limited. It has the original DVD Player that came with the car. I insert a DVD and can hear the sound but I don't see the DVD in the player in the back. Does anyone know...

as you hear the sound, means there is communication! double check video cable connection: you should be using 3 connectors cabling (Red, White and yellow). make sure same color for video both ends....good luck

2004 Honda Odyssey - DVD player working fine until now suddenly the picture does not come on screen but there is Sound from Speakers?

So it is the fault with the display unit unless the video processing section of the dvd is faulty. So cross on the display unit if there is indication of the mode then the display is Ok and the fault is centered on the DVD.
The Digital to Analogue convertor can be faulty so that there is no video output to the display.
The unit may need expert attention.

You need to change the mode on the stereo to dvd. The dvd sound comes through the vehile stereo. I just bought a used one a week ago and had the same problem, eventually figured it out.
