the fuel fill door of my 2004 vw passat wagon was snapped off yesterday (bent backwards and snapped at gas station)- how do I fix this?- The break came at the hinge side- the locking mechanism still works. Should I try to super-glue it back together, or does the whole assembly need to be replaced?

I have swift diesel vdi car. One month ago panel showed SES light while running.. After 2 days i went to maruti authorised service station for service. After inspecting my car, mechanic told me that one fuel injector is open. So he replaced it under warrenty.. Now after 2 days of service panel showed another light thats MIL(Malfunction indicator light) light. Oneagain i went back to service station. After checking with their little Tech2 they told me that some codes needs to release and they relaesed it. So without ant repair they done it.. But after some days oneagain this problem continued.. I repalced the right headlight but did not disconnect the negative battery cable per the owners instruction manual and now my key fobs do not work. However, my check engine light is no longer shows up on the instrument panel as it did prior to my chaning the headlight. My mechanic advised that the check engine light was not an issue since the car runs fine. Any suggestions on the key fob not working after changing the headlight? Greg Porter
