Have a load test done on the battery as there appears that there is insufficient current to start and supply to the ignition at the same time . Possible dead cell

Does the emobilizer and key have to be replaced if the wrong key was put in ignition and had to be pulled and wiggled pretty hard to remove now it wont start

When you turn the ignition switch to ON(II), the immobilizer system indicator should come on for a few seconds, then go out. If the indicator starts to blink, it means the system does not recognize the coding of the key. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK(0), remove the key, reinsert it, and turn the switch to ON(II) again. If the system repeatedly does not recognize the coding of your key will need a repair.

Wont start

the clicking noise is usually 2 things, step on try jump starting car and if starts have battery tested as it is probably bad (free testing at most chain auto stores), the other usual problem is that the starter has gone bad, when whoever tried turning off car while driving might have put into start mode and burnt out the starter when it engaged at high speed.

Can not turn key. pulled in driveway turned wheelswent to start car and the key will not turn. 2001 town car

to get the key to turn you will have to carry out some steps! if the steering lock is on you will need to rock the steering wheel while trying to turn the key, as your turning the key put some pressure on it to remove it at the same time, in other words your putting pressure on the key to turn to the on position and trying to free up the tumblers at the top of the barrel, by pulling it out, stick too it, it may take some work, when you get it to the on position and started, DONT PULL IT OUT UNTIL YOU GET IT FIXED disconnect the battery every day if you have to otherwise you'll have to do it again

Car won't start. Turn the key on and all lights

Try boosting the car,if it always starts then you either need a battery or you need to clean your cable ends.If this does nothing for you then replace the starter relay.

Ignition

This is a simple fix.  Either the key is worn and you need a new key cut, or your ignition switch is worn and you need to replace it. Personally, I would start with a new key.  Before spending any money, try pulling on the steering wheel a little in both directions while turning the key.  I have seen steering locks prevent the key from turning on older cars.
