Question about Chevrolet S 10
I have low beams but no high beams!!! what could the problem be?
Either your bulb are shot (unlikely if both don't work) or your high beam switch is bad. Check fuses first, as some cars have a separate fuse for the high beams.

SOURCE: LOW BEAM LIGHTS
Hi Rich Million,
Check the bulbs for the low beam problem and if they're ok, check the fuses under the bonnet (hood) which are found in the fuse box. If you've already checked those, go to the fuse box inside the vehicle.
Still no luck....remember that there are fuses and relays inside the cabin behind the kick panel.....You may find that there is a problem with the main fuse box.....If you drive over rough terrain, check the connections under the main fuse box....even if your roads are all smooth, it's still worth checking.....

could be the switch. did you do anything to the switch when you changedheadlamps? maybe you put the lamp in incorrectly also did the brights work on the lamp that was "burned out"?

SOURCE: bright lights don't work
check the headlight wires for power when you have the highbeams switched on, more than likley its gonna be your dimmer switch, its really common in older vehicles
