Question about 1999 Ford Expedition
AFTER DRIVING MY TRUCK FOR ABOUT 3O MIN MY TRUCK LOSES POWER WHEN I ACCELERATE MAKES THE SOUND OF A HORN BLOWING THEN CUTS OFF .IT STARTS RIGHT BACK UP AND I CAN ONLY GO ABOUT 5 MPH OR IT WILL CUT BACK OFF I HAVE HAD A TONE UP REPLACED 2 IGNITION COILS MY FUEL FILTER AND FUEL PUMP AND DPFE SENSOR,EGU VALVE,AND A EGU OR EGN SOLINOID AND IM STILL HAVING THIS PROBLEM WHAT ELSE COULD BE CAUSING MY TRUCK TO DO THIS
Here are two things to check. There is a type of antispin brake that smothers the air intake when it detects a difference in rear wheel speed. This is to prevent spinning in mud or ice. Thus the air HORN sound. There is a control sensor in the rear axle which may be bad.
