Question about 1991 BMW 3 Series
When i have select a gear the car mover at snail pace and if i try to accelarate it jus revs as it is an auto it obviously cant be the cluth but thats wat it seems like
There are two possibilies but first check that fluid level is proper. Either you have something wrong with the valves inside the tranny but it sounds more like you have burned up at least one of the clutch packs inside the auto tranny. Check your fluid level first and foremost. After that you are going to have to remove the tranny and pull it apart to find the problem. Prefferably bring it to someone who knows how to rebuild trannys.
