Question about 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Smokes, loses power, valves start rattling and pinging, after cooling down starts and runs fine for a few minutes and then starts the same process all over again
Check the coolant level. check thermostat for correct operation. Have a compression test done to check for head gasket or cracks . All indications are that the motor is overheating badly.
