How do you change a light bulb in the dashboard

change the bulb you will half to take it to the shop

Take out the screws holding the instrument panel in, pull it gently away from the dash being careful not to unplug or pull out any wires. there should be a plastic retainer that you and pull off to get at the bulbs.replace the blown bulbs and reinstall the panel..

i would start buy changing all bulbs if u got lights in middle of dash then your fuses are not blowed change the bulbs.

If you want to fix this then you will have to remove the dash fascia and gain access to whats behind the instrument cluster, There are a handful of incandescent bulbs located behind the gauge faces. Replace them and you will be good to go.

toyota have them they go in easy.

you have to remove the ipc insterment panel cluster to change the bulb good luck some are led that can not be replaced

just have your star screu driver take off the speedometer cover take out the speedometer and replace bulb. and also take out the door mat and replace bulb.

The speedo is illuminated by small bulbs held in bayonet holders in the back of the speedo, they are colour coded or have a wattage marked on them. You have to remove the speedo to change the bulbs, make sure you replace them with the correct wattage. Michael

you can remove the cluster and buy the bulb separate as far as the brake light it is either the float is bad in the master cyl. or you have low frt brake pads

lay on your back on the drivers side floor and reach up... if there is room. even better if you can see it. bulb holders can be removed with a half a turn or so... change the bulb and replace
