Do an electronic cylinder contribution test
Then do a cylinder leak down test-to check for valve issues
Then smoke the intake for vacuum leaks

It has to be a valve problem, fuel problem or vacuum problem,
only on that one cylinder

Make sure the wires are not crossed, you may have put the problem
in there

Misfire cilinder 2 kia sportage

A code P0302 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
Faulty spark plug or wireFaulty coil (pack)Faulty oxygen sensor(s)Faulty fuel injectorBurned exhaust valveFaulty catalytic converter(s)Running out of fuelPoor compressionDefective computerPossible Solutions
If there are no symptoms, the simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back.
If there are symptoms such as the engine is stumbling or hesitating, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the cylinders (i.e. spark plugs). Depending on how long the ignition components have been in the car, it may be a good idea to replace them as part of your regular maintenance schedule. I would suggest spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Otherwise, check the coils (a.k.a. coil packs). In some cases, the catalytic converter has gone bad. If you smell rotten eggs in the exhaust, your cat converter needs to be replaced. I've also heard in other cases the problems were faulty fuel injectors.

Hope help.

Check engine light is on code is P0306 which I believe is the 6 cyl is misfiring. How can I test to see if it is the plug or spark plug wire

Spark plugs don't fail to fire
Wires last, sometimes, the life of the veh,20 years

Go with bad coil pack or COP Coil #6,which ever applies.

I have a ford explorer 99 but it's giving a error code PO306 what do u think it is

It sounds like a misfire. Check spark plugs 5 and 6. It could be bad fuel, bad plug wire, or weak coil. Check the fuel injectors as well. Other possible causes could be an egr valve stuck open, vacuum leaks, low fuel pressure.
