Read your post over...perhaps it makes sense to you, but you don't even give a clue as to what you need.

Where is the speed sensor at on a 1993 jeep grand cherokee

On 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4WD 5.2L MFI 8cyl the Vehicle Speed Sensor - is located in Transmission / Transfer case extension housing (tail section), near where the drive shaft attaches to the transmission. The sensor has three wires (white / black, black / light blue and white / orange).

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee The ABS light comes on and stays on. What does this mean?

You may have a faulty sensor, most cases a wheel speed sensor, the light is on warning you that you do not have abs basically your car will stop like an old 70's model car before abs. abs atands for anti lock brakes, it keeps your brakes from locking up under extreme braking.

My abs light won't go off and diagnostics results show issues with catalyst monitoring and oxygen sensor monitoring. What does this mean and how to cure it?

The abs light has nothing to do with the cat or the o2 sensors but the check engine light would, the cat problem may be a bad cat, these jeeps are famous for cats, if you replace the cat i would also replace the 02 sensors. the abs problem on these is related to a bad speed sensor, theres one in the rear diif and the other in the trany housing.

Whats wrong my abs light is on, my brake light is on and my speedometer nor odometer are working? 2004 jeep grand cherokee larado 6 cyl 4.0 liter

here is the short version...

the vehicle speed sensor is actual an interpreted signal from the ABS module and the ABS module uses the wheel speed sensors

therefore, if the ABS module sees a problem with any sensor it will affect the PCM input for vehicle speed

another possibility, but worst case, is the ABS module has failed

in either case you will need a professional scan tool to monitor actual wheel speed versus PCM vehicle speed

The original motor in my 93 grand cherokee 5.2L seized in June. I bought a good junk yard 5.2L motor from a 98 Grand Cherokee and swapped over the 93 intake and all related electronics. The engine is back...

are you sure those intakes are inter changeable?
if you still have the 98 intake and your 93 block ,sit there and look for any differences in holes or hole locations.
another way to check is when it is running remove the oil fill cap and see if it stalls or picks up speed.

93 Jeep Grand Cherokee Won't start

The crankshaft position sensor was seriously problematic in those old jeeps. It's located towards the top of the bell housing slightly to the driver's side I think.
