Audi epc light

What ,year audi and model? EPC LIGHT PO299. let me see if i can find out with out year and model.
okay, if your car has turbo then this is correct, po299 low boost.
this may be caused by a bad diverter valve on the turbo, if you remove it and look ay diaphram for any cracks or splits in rubber, if it is then replace it ,check for an update valve at dealer.
there are other thing that can cause this code but start with that. a loose hose for the turbo can cause this code or bad turbo or clogged converter, or oil sulge problem.

I doubt it. You should have the computer checked for trouble codes.
It could be a long list of things including low fuel pressure.

Chevy C1500 4.3 liter

If you mean the engine starts running rough at say 40 or 50 mph, once you go into overdrive the engine is working very hard and any weak component can show up. Could be spark plugs or other factors.
If the check engine light is on you need to have the computer checked for trouble codes to help narrow down the options.

I had a remote start installed now my 2002 firebird does not run right no pwer and hard shifting

Did it start running bad immediately after the remote was installed? If it was some time later, I would say the remote is not part of the problem. You will need to have your engine scanned with a OBD II scanner to see if the computer has stored any trouble codes. You didn't mention a check engine light, but there could still be stored codes in the computer which could give you a clue as to where the problem is. Without the codes it will be difficult to diagnose the problem.

On an uphill climb the engine sounds like it is starving for gas

PO299 is associated with turbo under boost. An air leak in the intake maf or mas senor or could be a vacuum line.

Temp gauge drops to zero and then engine chugs

It is not likely that it is a computer problem if there are no trouble codes.

Have you considered the thermostat? If it is sticking, it would cause the engine to run cool (or hot depending on what position it is sticking in). The truck could be adjusting it's fuel/air ratio to compensate for the cool temps, thus causing the engine to run poorly.
