Question about 2007 Toyota Aygo 1.0

1 Answer

The gears keep sticking and are hard to change.

At 45,000 km I got a new clutch kit for my Toyota Aygo, and that seemed to resolve it. Now one year (and 10,000 km) later, I have the same problem. I do not "ride the clutch", as one mechanic wondered.

How many km can a clutch disc last on a new toyota quantum? Thrre is a quantum that travels 120km par day in a congetion trafic and now it on 30000km the presure is week

the life of the clutch depends on the driver action
riding the clutch , using 2nd gear instead of 1st gear, driving conditions all are responsible for shortened clutch life. average clutch plate life is around 100,000miles in good conditions with good driving habits
however if the vehicle is over 3 years old , it could be a problem in the clutch master cylinder or clutch cable that is not allowing full clutch engagement and that will give indications of clutch failure

I have problem with my Nissan terrano 2 mechanical gearbox. It's hard to put to 1st gear. From 1'st to 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, are also hard. Is it necessary to change clutch?

not a clutch problem unless you have just done a clutch kit change
more likely a hydraulic clutch problem ( air in the system) or master cylinder needing replacement .
if it is a cable operated clutch , replace the clutch

I have a 77 Toyota PU. New Clutch installed. Slave and throughout adjusted properly. Adjustment under dash adjusted full out. Still I have to jam the clutch all the way to the floor and barely able to get...

if it worked good before the clutch kit was installed , but not after then the clutch installation is incorrect
probably find the the clutch plate has been installed incorrectly
with a correctly fitted clutch kit , there is no necessity to change pedal height or anything else
