Question about Nissan 300ZX
Hard start in the morning
Two areas to look in if it were me. Fuel pressure. It should have 27-33 psi whenoff or at an idle. If you don't have pressure, but when you crank it it builds right uo, it just means you may have a leaking injector(s), fuel pump check valve or bad fuel pressure regulator allowing the pressure to bleed off after sitting for a while. Get a long screw driver or smoething like iit that you can put on to th top of an in jector, put your ear on the other end. Have a friend crank the engine ans see if you can hear a clicking sound.Check for spark. Pull thee center wire out of the distributor, hold it close to any metal object, and have a friend crank the engine.See if you have spark going from the coile wire to the metal you are holding it close to. It should be kind of a bluish color or at least a bright yellow.. Going from the throttle body, follow it down until you feel the rubber hose. Check it for cracks or tears. If you find any this can cause a problem. Check the plug connection for any corrosion. You have to look hard. Sometimes it smart to scrape the plugs and pins so the will make good contact.
This should give you some starting points to look at. Good luck
