Question about 1985 Jeep CJ7
I have a 1985 cj7 with a 6in soa lift on it. I am 15 and this jeep was given to me by my dad. When driving it it has about 3 inches of play in the steering, which makes it hard to keep on road. What do I need to do to fix this problem. Also it has a chevy 350 in it if that help. THANKS.
If it was me i would go to a good salvage yard and get my hands on a good one and replace the whole column and take it by a lock smith with my key and have it rekey try this website to find a good salvage yard near you www.junkyarddog.com and what i do when i am working on something sometime is go by the library and checkout a Haynes auto repair manual for the car i am working on also try these websites www.autozone.com and www.alladtadiy.com best of luck Michigan man.
