SOURCE: What should it cost to replace both rear brake lines on a 2003 Hyundai elantra front to back

Its cheaper if u buy lines and do it yourself honestly. But you will also need brake fluid and a friend to help you bleed all brake lines

First its not safe to drive and second I think you have a brake line that has a hole rusted thru it.If the brake line is not rusted I would take a look at the brake cylinder seals.

The brake line above my rear left tire is leaking when brake pressed

The brake line should be replaced to ensure your safety. It it has ABS brakes, then a licensed mechanic wil have to do this.

All of a sudden i have spongy brakes on my 92 f 250. changed master cyl and booster. and rubber brake hoses. still spongy and nothing is leaking.brakes went from being good to spongy in one...

Check the rear wheel cylinders? Was anything leaking at the master cylinder? Does it have ABS?
Check the front caliper slides are free. Check the front caliper pistons for leaks as well. This is all assuming you bled the brakes(all 4 wheels) properly after all that replacement! You're getting air from somewhere for sure or if it has ABS, the pump may have a problem.

I replaced my front brake router and brake pads today. when i bleed the front left brake, a line which im assuming is a brake line near the rear left tire burst and is leaking brake fluid. when u tried...

First, there is NO Pumping of the brake pedal
involved in bleeding brakes

I think your smart enough to know you
need to replace both rear brake hoses,
before you proceed with the bleeding

I have a broken brake line above my gas tank and I can not find a diagram to show me if the line runs straight across the tank or if there are other connecting lines above the gas tank that I can not see....

Look at the differential housing and you'll find a "T" with a flexible line going to that broken line above the tank. Cut and connect another a replacement line from front of tank around to the "T" and then bleed the rear brakes. The single line feeds both rear brakes from that "T" and there are no other lines connected to it. Done this way will keep you from having to drop the fuel tank to get to the line to replace it.

What would it cost to fix a 2005 huandai sonata

It's not the bearing, its the pad or shoe, the grinding noise is your brake. the lining is wore off and it is now metal to metal. The sooner you get it fixed, the cheaper it will be. If you do it yourself and the caliper/brake cylinder is still good, your looking at 20bucks, if you need to replace the brake drum/rotor, it could be anywhere from 10 to 100 more. If you bring it to a shop, they will tell you that you have to replace it no matter what, but if it is only slightly grooved, it's a back brake, you can run it like that or have it resurfaced. The caliper/brake cylinder on the other hand is also going to be anywhere from 10 to 100 dollars, and the line will have to be bleed after changing it. If you have a shop do all the work, If they replace the brake linings and resurface the rotor/drum it shouldnt be more than $100.

96 Plymouth Neon rear tire locked up

Parking brake is stuck ( possibly ),engauging parking brake a few times which in most cases will not help ( never know when they stick ) and at the back of the drum backing plate towards the axle will be the cable give it a couple good tuggs to release it and do not use it again or replace the cables ( if that is the case), if it will not release and or is free the you may have contamination in the brake lines to the rear right causing the caliper to be stuck open. The bleed the rear brake line best possible solution after that garage.

Ruptured brake line

unless modifications were made to the factory settings then you can go to any parts store ad buy a brake line. there is a hard metal line that runs from the master cylinder to the back of the car and then there is a rubber hose that connects the hardline to the brake system. that is all you will have to replace.

remove the tire and check and see, you may be able to see it by jacking up the car and crawling under it. all you need is a wrench and a new hose, you will have to bleed your brakes after replacing the hose.
