Its definitely the starter. It is right on the front next to the exhaust. There is only 2 bolts holding it on and you have to take off the wires. I think i had to take off the oil filter to get it out. I hope this helps.

probably starter check to see if you have power to the starter because you do have a fuse and a starter relay also.any auto parts store nowadays can bench test your starter so i would advise taking it off and having that done first.

2000 3.2L diesel navara start problem

to check if you can try hitting the starter, with a hammer or bar. if it starts, it's the starter for sure. you can also jump the posts on the starter, the small one to the big one, if it starts and the starter sounds normal you will have to check the small wire/ignition wire and switch. if *** justs clicks or does nothing it's the starter. let me know

SE V6 will not start. Battery is OK. When

hi it does sound like the starter is stuck, there could be a way to free it and find out for sure if it is u/s, what you have to do is, locate starter on your vehicle, depending on its location you can try tapping it with a small hammer or a long bar of sorts, at the same time get someone to turn the ignition at the same time while you are tapping the starter, this should free the solenoid and then the starter should work, if it does, turn the motor off, and try again and see if it works if it does your ok, if not then try the above again, if you have to do it every time you turn the motor off then you will need to replace your starter NOTE!!!!make sure you are not near any moving parts when you do this....hope this helps please vote thanks

Car wont start, no clicks no sound

make sure you have power getting to your starter when you crank. check the small nut on the starter. should have 12 v or very close to it. this will tell you if your getting power to the starter or if somethign before the starter and something maybe with your anti theft system or not. its hard to say online cause of that anti theft. doest the light flash at all? the anti theft light?

if your getting power to the starter when you crank make sure your getting good power to the starter by turning on the head lights and see if they dim. a good starter will cause the headlites to dim when attempting to start. if nothing dims check connections. or assume bad starter motor. make sure your also getting power to the main starter stud as well.

good luck

Will not Start

Strap VOM across battery and measure VDC. Keep Eye on VDC as someone attempts to start car. If Volts drop to near 0, battery is toastado.

Otherwise, check ignition relay and starter solenoid. Check any large fuses in the underhood fuse compartment.

My 2000 eclipse wont start up all the way

I have the same problem on my 2002 Eclipse RS 2.4l 4 cylinder. Replaced the battery, starter, fuel pump(not at one time) . It started up when I had the starter put on as well the fuel pump. But everytime I started the car up it ran good till I turned it off the problem was still there. The car sounds like it wants to start but it sputters you can smell the gas so I know its getting fuel. it starts up fine with a cold start like in the morning.

Try getting a diagnostic thats what Im going to do next week.
good luck!!!
