It should be fine the 1990/1994 dont appear to change much esp in that side no more steering controls are added unto 95 odd But you may find ford may have changed connectors to stop you doing things like that and ruining there sales lol
If your clock spring is buggered your horn wont be working either nor will your cruise control controls.

you need to pull the cover off the rear diff. remove the rear brake drums or rotors, remove the bolt that holds the pin in the rear end, remove the pin, remoce the c clips, pull the axles out. remove the seal. you can do this by using one ofthe axles to pry the seal out. install the new seal and reassemble. use rtv sealant to reseal rear diff and fill with about 3 - 3 1/2 qts gear lube-may take synthetic

There is one small ignition wire that is connected to the solenoid on top of the starter. It slips on and can lose it's connection at any time. Sometimes you can just touch it and it will start working again. The connection needs to be tightened.
