Sounds like either the fuel pump relay or the fuel pump itself has gone out. check fuse panel first then check fuel pump relay. if those are good then check power leads to pump at tank and if you have power there then the pump has probably failed. hope this helps. Chris

What I'll do is change the fuel pump, test the relay if it's good don't replace it, if not replace it, but also replace the fuel filter, check the fuse also, at this point check the fuel lines

I would unplug the gas cap when it stalls; if you hear a hissing sound, change the gas cap, because it builds up a vacuum in the tank.

Why will my truck wont start but will turn over. sometimes dies when you come to a stop, and when starting , you cant hear the fuel pump kick on

Year, make, and model? When was the last tune up done? Air filter, fuel filter? Could also be a bad fuel pump.

I was driving down the road and it just died and now it will not start

Check fuel pump fuse and then fuel pump relay if both are ok the fuel pump is bad. Make sure you check the power wire to the fuel pump for proper volts before you replace the pump.

1990 f150 302 v8 5.0 sputtered and died and now wont start. What could be the problem?

Turn the ignition switch to run, without starting it. You should hear the electric fuel pump, in the gas tank, run for about 3 to 4 seconds, until it builds to proper pressure. If it is not humming along it needs replaced.

Running fine. Died and wont start. Cranks fine

can you hear the fuel pump kick on when you turn the key on but without crancking the engine? Generally the fuel pump will prime for about two to three seconds when you first turn the key on. if you don't hear it that's probably the culprit. If you do hear it it may be a bad pump. also should check to see if you have spark. You can do this by removing a plug wire and using another spark plug. Ground the plug to somthing metal and have someone crank the engine (making sure you are not touching the plug or metal) You should see a spark while cranking. Good luck

I was told the Kill switch is the cause of my Ford F150 not starting. It sounds like it wants to turnover but there's no fuel going to my motor, fuel line is dry and they can't hear the fuel pump turning on.

Replace the fuel pump relay. And if your truck has dual tanks there's three fuel pumps, one in each tank and another secondary fuel pump.
