Question about 1994 Subaru Legacy Outdoor
We have a 94 Sabaru legacy, need to know where the Hazard warning flasher unit is located. Or does it have one? The flashers won't shut off. I had to disconnect the turn signal relay. So we are using hand signals to make turns...a bit cold this time of year, but better than not being able to drive. One suggestion was to replace the blinker cam. The whole turn signal assy. is about $384...yikes! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hi there, this can be caused from a few different things , Most likely the button on top of your steering column /behind your steering wheel on top has muck inside of it and needs to be cleaned inside out , second if you have recently replaced battery and or you don't have key remote for car that can be an issue for disabling immobilizer and will cause hazards to flash , the *warning flasher unit* is located left hand side behind glove box and is no easy task however i would think unlikely the problem, hope this helps :-)

It should be under the dash near the steering and brake pedal area, turn them back on and listen for it it is up on the left side it is about a 1 sq inch block type looks just like a relay that is under the hood in the fuse realy box
