2002 land Rover Range Rover only the right side blower motor works the left side doesn't work and no power at the blower motor

Blower resistor pack is probably bad. This pack is what gives you various speeds for the fan.

I cannot find the blower motor resistor, there is no black box under the hood on the passengers side and its not under the dash? the blower was working fine then started making a lot of noise and quit, the...

Heater motor Resistors are usually built into the heater motor housing, plastic box under dash, if its a right hand drive it will be under the left hand side if its a left hand drive it will be under the right hand side. When you say the motor tested ok how did you test it, resistors are not noisy when they fail. The resistor only controls the speeds of the blower motor/fan and when they fail they usually only fail on one circuit so the blower usually still works on either slow or fast speeds.

Fan stopped working causing engine to overheat.

Which one is working?... the one on the right or the left? The one on the right is for the Air Conditioning (primarily).. the one on the left (driver's side) is for cooling the engine (coolant). If the one on the driver's side isn't working, check to see if there is power (battery voltage) and ground to it (the ECU turns it on when the coolant temp is above 208 degrees). If you have power & ground at the cooling fan connector, then the cooling fan motor is bad.

Heater/ac fan will not come on at all. I can feel heat when i put my hand to the vent, but the blower/fan is not working. I checked the fuse and it is fine. What could be the problem?

Test the blower motor by jumping 12 volts to the blower motor connector, if it works you have a defective blower motor speed control resistor which is located just next to the blower motor, i recommend u replace both as the blower motor ages it draws more current and this causes the resistor fail, u should be able to buy these parts in the aftermarket, the dealer parts will be very expensive.

The blower motor is behind the glove box. Remove the glove box (3screws, 1 on the left side and 2on the bottom). Remove the glove box lower frame (4 screws). The blower motor assembly will be on the right hand side under the dash

Fan resistor

I had the same issue on my 1999 Grand Cherokee. I replaced the fan motor which was only 68.00 from Auto Zone and the fan relay sensor which is located behind the front left side of the bumper, which was about 30.00 from Autozone. I would suggest testing the motor with the 12V (fused). You can test it with your car battery, if it works, then i would suggest replacing your fan motor sensor, behind the front left side of the bumper.
