The mounting screws or bolts are the negative ground connection to the blower motor, check to make sure these are tight.

SOURCE: 2004 Chrysler Pacifica Blower won't work

Usally when a blower motor resistor goes bad the fan still runs on high. The resistor lowers the voltage going to the fan to make it run slower. The high setting usually goes straight thru. Resistors are usually easy to get to, under good on the firewall or under dash passenger side. Cost about $24 at parts store. Replace with new if that doesn't work return it.

The ventilation fan for heat/ac is not working. The fuses all seem the be ok. Any thing else to look for

Did you check the proper fuses for voltage? Some fuses are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on. Even if fuses are good, if no voltage the circuit is still dead. I guess your talking about the blower motor? Can you hear it running? I don't know if you auto hvac or manual hvac? I don't know if your talking about front or rear blower motor?
Get at the blower motor, if two wire connector, that should be voltage and ground. Turn on the hvac controls, check for voltage and ground at the blower motor connector. If good voltage and ground with no blower action, suspect the blower motor.

It is possible to use jumper wires from the battery for voltage and ground to blower motor connector, just for testing to see if blower motor will run, use an inline fuse, just in case.
If you want wiring diagram, I need more info.

New replacement Blower does not have a ground wire, existing blower does, will the new part work without a ground wire?

Are you talking about hvac blower motor? How many pins on the blower connector, should be two, one is voltage, the other is ground.

If the new blower pigtail has only one wire, maybe it grounds through the chassis? You could use a redundant jumper wire for ground if your worried. One end of the wire goes to blower motor mounting screw, make sure it is touching bare metal, the other end of wire goes to bare metal spot on chassis.

Location of heater relay on 2003 ford focus.

There is no relay, according to my info. At the blower motor, green wire is voltage, fuse protected, goes hot with key on. Black wire is ground. The blower speed control switch is part of ground circuit. There are resistors for the lower speeds. Hi speed doesn't use a resistor. If you have good voltage and ground at blower motor and no blower action, suspect the blower motor. Any motor that uses brushes, sometimes you can tap on suspect motor, and it will run intermittently. Sign of bad brushes.
You may be able to use jumper wires to blower motor connector for voltage and ground, from the battery, just to see if blower motor will run? If it won't run, suspect blower motor. If you use jumpers, use an inline fuse, just in case.

Blower on heater won't work

Firstly check the fuses for the fan. If those don;t work, maybe there is some debris in the blower fan that is stopping it spin?

The cabin blower not working.

Not sure what vehicle you have, I wont beable to give you specifics. Using a jumper wire, unplug heater motor and applie 12v jumper wire and ground if 2 plug connector. If the fan does not come on, replace the fan motor. If not, you will have to investigate wiring.
Next, remove a/c relay and see if the a/c pump stops. If it stops you have a bad relay or you have a control wire grounded.

DID YOU HOOK UP THR GROUND WIRE .. IF YOU DID YOU STILL PROBILY DON'T HAVE A GOOD GROUND SO MAKE SURE IT GROUNNDED WELL YOU HOOK A JUMPER CABLE TO THE NEG SIDE OF THE BATTERY AND THEN TOUCH THE OTHER END OF THE JUMPER TO BARE METAL ON UR NEW BLOWER IT SHOULD START IF YOUR GROUND IS BAD MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR FAN SWITCH ON WHEN YOU CHECK THE GROUND ,,, OK CHECK YOUR FUSE AND OR RELAY IF THIS DON;T WORK .... BUT USSALLY ITS JUST THAT THE NEW MOTOR IS NOT GROUNDED GOOD ENOUGH ..

2005 grand caravan; rear blower motor is working, but the front blower is not even though the lights on the swith are working. Is this the resistor?

Access the blower motor resistor board located behind the glove box. Take a jumper wire and ground each of the Dark Blue wires that have tracers on them one at a time. Caution: do not ground out the plain Dark Blue wire or a fuse will blow. As each wire (with the tracer) is grounded, the blower motor should run at a different speed. If it does not, the resistor board has failed.
