Question about Mercury Grand Marquis

The a/c gets cold but the blower motor doesn't work. I also get a message that the air suspension should be checked. I checked the fuse and it is ok.

The blower motor and the air suspension share a common fuse. Do they also use the same blower moter? Could the resistor be bad? If the resistor is suspect could you tell me how to find and check it?
I thought the fan speed switch might be bad but I think the blower problem and the air suspension problem are connected (dare I hope).

Could the air suspension and the a/c problem be from the same source?

Hi there,

This problem seems in the Blower motor, now you need to change that motor and it will cost aprox $40.

Good Luck!!
Thanks

Where is the main air conditioning fuse located in a 1987 mercury sable

The fuse for the blower motor should be a 30amp marked number nine in the box near the steering column.
The fan switch and resistor provide the ground circuit.

Sentra AC

There's a 10amp fuse that powers the ac clutch relay and compressor. There are 15amp fuses that power the blower motor and the ac control switch. All of those fuses get power from the key switch. The resistor and fan switch provide the ground circuit for the blower motor.
I would want to know if those fuses are getting power, and if the control panel is working. You should be able to ground the blower motor and make it run on high, and that should not have any effect on if the ac compressor is running or not.
It could be a key switch problem in that the circuit is not strong enough to handle the load from the blower and the compressor at the same time.

Heater blower does not work on 1992 Buick Park Avenue

Hit the blower motor with a hammer handle and see if it starts, if it does replace the blower motor, if it doesn't replace the blower motor resistor located next to the blower motor in the air ducting with the connector sticking out of the air ducting

2004 CHEVY SUBURBAN FRONT A/C WORKS BUT THE REAR DOESN'T TURN ON

There is a blower motor control processor for the back blower - it takes input from the front control and the rear control and decides the fan speed. That processor could be faulty, or the blower motor, or a 30amp fuse in the engine compartment.
In the front system you have a controller and blend doors that direct air thru the heater core and evaporator. You would need to check the operation of those blend doors.

My AC doesn't work, hot or cold no air comes out. Everything turns on as if it was working, but no air comes out.

Could be your fuses, blower motor, or blower motor resistor. Jags are fickle cars and are best dealt with by experienced mechanics that specialize in European vehicles.

Blower on heat/a not working

So it works with a/c but doesn/t work with heat. Is that what your saying?
Or it blows cold air on heat selection?

If it blows but only blows cold air on heat selection
check out the following items:
temperature selector switch
blend door actuator and motor.

Here are a list of items to check out or have a shop inspect if it doesn't blow anything at all.
a) on/off switch
b) relay
c wiring
d) resistors
e) blower motor

check to see if you have power at the AC AND HEAT blower motor.if yes your blower motor is defective.if you have no power to blower motor look at fuse- blower relay-resistor or bad control switch.

A/C FAN NOT WORKING

I presume you are talking about the blower motor and not the cooling fan on the engine?

If you have checked the fuse then ensure there is power at the blower motor when switched on.
