Question about 1995 Pontiac Firebird
Pressure hose on the 3.8 engine is 25 dollars part #91710
power steering pressure hose on the 3.1 engine is 27 dollars part #91674
all of these parts are at autozone
tools all so.
labor should be around 50 dollars
plus a quart of power steering fluid.about 5 dollars for some good stuff.
its a messy job but you could be done in about an hour all cleaned up and ready to go.
if you took it in to get done somewere ,you could spend about 200 dollars parts and labor and shop fees.
you will need a set of line wrenchs as to not round the corners of the hex heads.
make sure your tools fit the new line as well.
maybe a few other just basic tools.
and you may have to remove a skirt on the bottom but its no big deal just dirty as heck.
use some carpet and cardboard to get underthere you will need to jack up the car to fit underthere .
verify the hose that is leaking and trace it to both ends and remove them with the right fit line wrench.
you should be ok on this .
hope this helps
