100,000 is the recomended interval change for the timing belt, however there is no set schedule for the water pump.

SOURCE: should I replace the timing belt & water pump

Yes it would be a very good idea to change them all at once. You can't go wrong there because most timing belts and water pumps go out around 90-100,000 miles. Go for it I would.

Good Luck!

Does the 2008 Acura TL have a timing chain or belt?

All the Acura motors listed in my book show a chain. The water pumps are driven by a serpentine belt. Water pumps only need changing when they leak out of the drain ho0le underneath or become noisy from failing bearings.

You definitly have a timing problem. I dont think its a fuel problem due to the age of your car. Its about past due for a timing belt/chain replacement.

How much should it cost to replace a timing belt in a 2004 acura tl? Also mechanic says to replace water pump, and other thing while back there. Is that neccasry?

I just had my 2004 TL's timing belt replaced in Jan 2010 by the dealer and the total repair for belt, water pump and all other normally suggested parts came to $859.90. My car had 139,990 miles and the work was done at the Acura dealer in Jacksonville Florida.

My car has 134000 miles, last year we change the water pump and timing belt. what should I dot this year

Would not hurt to change the transmission fluid and filter. Run a can of good injector cleaner in your gas.
You did real well with the timing belt and water pump.
The serpentine belt should be replaced.
