Question about 1991 Eagle Talon
I can't figure out the vacuum lines so I tied knots in them to prevent air leaks. the trans is 92 working on a 91 computer and is not shifting properly (hard shift between 1st an 2nd and wont kick down at full throttle). I did the swap myself so thats the first problem hopefully someone will help me with the others. A vacuum scematic will help but I don't know where to get one. The weird thing is the engine ligh didnt come on until after 30 kilometers or so . I'm afraid theres something seriously wrong with the trans, any suggestions? If you can sort this out you may be a wizard.

Check the bolt pattern on both transmissions. they should be a match but may need a washer to make up for the depth of the neon trans

On the 92 you have a rubber grommet in body, then you see black plastic insultarer and chrome fastener! Most junk yards have them for a buck or two. 91 should fit also!
