Can you see if the rotor in distributor is turning whilst engine is cranked? or if the Cam is turning by looking through the oil filler while someone turns the key.
If they aren't turning/revolving then you may unfortunately be suffering a timing chain/belt failure.
Sorry to bear bad tidings if this is the problem.

You checked for, and have spark, next check for fuel to plugs. After several attempts to start, pull a plug and look for evidence of fuel (should be damp after several starting attempts) Do you hear a humming sound when the key is turned on to start? That would be coming from the gas tank, and is evidence that the fuel pump is functioning. If no gas, no humm, check for power to fuel pump. If there is power to the fuel pump and connections are ok, the pump is bad and needs to be replaced. If humm present, try changing the fuel filter, there's a chance it's plugged up. Let me know how it goes.

Wiring has been run and checked, fuel pump comes on, started is engageing fine. One mechanic said it was not getting fire, he replaced a unit on the back of the engine that usualy goes bad...still wont crank...the next day it cranks. i am about to redy to give up.....but it has low miles. need some help.

When it doen'st start, you will need to check for spark, fuel. If it doesn't have one of these, you will need to start tapping the relay related to starter, and fuel pump. The best way to determine which ones they are is to get a manual, but another way is to place your hands on the relays that you think maybe related and have someone turn the key on. The correct relay will click. Now, you will need to see if the same relays are clicking during the no-start. If any of them fails to click, tap them with a screw driver. If it starts then, replace the relay. It maybe interfering with the radio since this is an electrical event.
