It sounds like you have a corroded battery terminal or cable. Clean and check all connection points. This may solve your problem. If that is not the case, have the battery load tested at your local parts store.

SOURCE: My heater blower stopped working

Hello,

The blower motor, as you have probably seen, is under the dash on the passengers side. While in Park with the parking brake applied:

Turn the Key On with fan blower set to High. Locate the blower motor and wiggle the electrical connector. If this brings the blower motor to life, a new blower motor is needed. This, if applicable, is a common failure that matches your symptoms. The new blower is simple to replace, although it is never fun working under the dash.

If you have a 12 volt test light or DVOM (multimeter) you can check for power at the electrical connector. You should have battery voltage (12+) with the blower set on high. Always use a known good ground when testing for power. If you have power (key on, set to high) and no blower operation the blower motor needs replacing.

The resistor you replaced is a very common failure on these.

Give me an update.

Sounds like you have a short to ground and bad component like a wiper motor drawing too many amps, dirty/loose grounds or power connections at the battery or simply a failed battery or alternator

Power windows and locks dont work, lights on the dash are dimmed, could it be a blown fuse or ground fault?

yes and yes

fuses could be a problem but the door lock fuse is #12 under the hood

window fuse is #12 under the dash

the dimming of the dash lights sounds like a ground issue that ground 200 at the center of the dash behind the air bag module

let me ask...did all these problems start at the same time?

Driver's headlight is dim; wipers only work if headlight is off

Sounds like the jolt from the barrier has caused a bad ground to occur. Look for a bad ground wire around the left headlamp in or around the headlight bucket.
Tighten or replace the bad ground wire. A poor contact will cause the headlight to light dimly.
