Check your battery posts connection. You have something loose between your battery and the internal of the car. Most of the time, you just need to tighten your battery post connectors.

Add a CommentJust tried the neg side and all good and tight, connected the pos side again and the doors are mysteriously working again but still no power from the battery. The battery has been fine until now so I don't think that is the problem

SOURCE: truck starts, dies. truck runs good some days, bad the next

I had the same problem with My 1990 F150 300 6cylinder 4x4.....I cahnged all the same things you did, finally I sprayed a can of Gumout through the throttle body and it worked and ran great. Now I add fuel injector cleaner to the gas and a regular clean with the gumout and the problem has'nt come back. Good Luck to you and hope it works!

SOURCE: Door locks don't work

Disassemble the paneling on left side ,under the steering wheel. Remove all screws and pull out the panel until you can you can reach behind it to remove the two Black Relays, on the side closest to Steering wheel. Remove the Relay covers, Clean the contacts with a 1/8 fine strip of 600 wet/dry sand paper. Only place the paper between the contacts, and pull out while holding slight pressure on the relay Armature. Turn over the sandpaper and repeat once again. Very gently press the TOP resting contact pad closer to the armature, to lessen the gap between the contact points, so the armature doesn't have to travel as far to reach the closed contact position. Repeat the above with the other2nd Relay. Replace the covers, reinstall the relays And test the Door locks prior to buttoning up the paneling. Note, a pair of long needle nosed pliers will help in removing the relays. Just Grip the relay and rock in Forward and Backward as you apply upward pressure.

I would think the door lock actuator motors are sticking, they are very lightly built little toys.

Chrysler 300 2006 started and died 4 times and now won't do anything. Not even a click. Have battery power to everything else

Try boosting it. If it starts and keeps running with a boost, but dies soon after you remove the boost, the battery is bad.

Mercedes 300td wont start

It's likely a bad glow plug relay found on the left fender well. You may have bad glow plugs as well. You should hear a faint click when you turn the key to glow psn. . Open the hood and have someone glow it. The click should be abvious and the wires will run from the relay to the glow plugs. also obvious.

2009 murano will not start, just clicking sound

If it is a rapid click test battery with a load tester (carbon pile type the best) it may be charged but have no capacity. If there is a single click from the starter when try start test voltage at starter solenoid activation lead you may have voltage drop (if below 9v you can fit an inline 30 amp relay to boost the circuit. Also check body earth to engine. If none of these work please advise with additional information.

check the battery in key, check wiring harness to relays behind dash. I think you have a bad relay or connection or button on your key is sticking. Worst case is having shop diagnose system so you can repair.

I have a 1999 intrepid & the remote start stopped working after my wife killed the battery while trying to start it in very cold weather.took me awhile to get it started, boost & batt.charger at...

If you have already replaced the battery with a new one, it may be that the starter is drawing more than the rated amperage, and/or that the relay for the remote start system is damaged. It could also be that the remote start has to be reprogrammed after having been without power for a while. If the car starts normally with a key, check the fuse for the remote start system. If the fuse is OK, try to find the relay for the remote start. If it is an aftermarket unit, it will probably be under the dash. Once you find it, you can test or replace this relay. If there is no separate relay for the remote start, or if this relay is not faulty, it probably needs to be reprogrammed. You can probably find instructions on the manufacturer's website.

On your remote, hold down the lock & unlock buttons at the same time for 2-3 seconds. This sets it in honk or no honk verification mode.
