Why all of sudden the engine shut down for 2001 325ci bmw??

If your engine warning lights on, then it might be an Ignition Control Module(ICM) issue, where the signals are getting crossed and the engine ends up shutting down. When this happens usually all of the 'engine warning lights' go on. I did a quick search online and if you need to replace your ICM this site looks like it has cheap prices, free shipping and great reviews http://www.buyautoparts.com/ignition-control-module.html

It was running normal all the sudden shut down'

Then a component suddenly failed. You know the routine, the old song and dance: check for spark, check for gas, check compression. But such a sudden shut down from normal sounds like you should first check your ignition system, so check for spark.
You need to see a blue snapping spark at the end of the spark plug wire, ( or the end of the spark plug if you use one and ground it for checking), to know that your ignition system is not the problem. It must be blue (not orange-bad) and it must be energetic, as in snapping. Good spark there, and if your plugs are in good shape, the spark in the cylinders should be driving the engine. In that case, check if gas is getting into the cylinders (injectors), or up to the engine (fuel pump).
If you have bad or no spark, you'll have to get your head around or inside the ignition system, cause that's your sudden failure. Testing is the only way to keep from buying unecessary parts.

I was driving my kia sedona and suddenly shut down in the middle of the street. I tried to started again and engine cranked, but did not start. By the way, the engine light check came on. Next day it...

Hi there!

It could be your Crank Position Sensor , Or Cam Position Senor. Because these two parts when they fail, The car shuts down suddenly or doesn't start at all or It start sometimes and sometimes not. And i would advice you to take the car to an auto part store like Advance or auto zone and ask then to scan the check engine light to see whats the code that was stored in the computer then bring it to see what is it exactly, and they do this service for free. Good luck Bro
