Question about 2010 Suzuki Swift
When you press the key fob twice to unlock all the doors, the rear (boot) door opens. If you go round and close it, as soon as you get in the car and shut the driver's door the rear boot door opens again. If you only press the key fob just once to only unlock the driver's door then everything is fine. Is this a short somewhere?
I would start by reading your owners manual
to see if you got the remote features down correctly
If you drive from age 18 to 88 ,some 70 years, you won't
encounter more than one short in all your vehicles or house
hold products combined

the law covering work under warranty does not invalidate work on your car of carried out by a reputabkle engineer contact Suzuki directly as this is not enforcable under law and just point that out mention the rule of tort under contract law it requires both sides to act reasonably and not to act to the detriment of both parties to the ocntract

No there is not many problems with this car at all. In fact it has very good ratings. This car may just have a bad electrical connection to the lock mechanism behind the door panel. You can push down drivers lock and then hit all door lock button and it should work no problem. You then can use remote to unlock all doors.

The inner trim panel is simply (?) held on with plastic push clips and a couple of screws (I think). The screws are on the lower edge from memory but have a good look around the whole trim before continuing. If all screws are removed, then all you have to do is pull the trim off. I usually get a screwdriver wrapped in a bit of cloth to help pop the first one, then you can get your fingers underneath for the rest. Start from the centre of one of the lower corners/curves.
