Does it leak coolant? Did you add coolant? Fans will not come on until 225 degrees. More info.

Pontiac Grand Am 2003 2.2L engine. Why do radiator fans work when I turn on AC?

it may have a thermostat to send power to the relays. Try it with the engine warm.

How Can I get my 2003 pontiac grand Prix cooling fans to work ?

check cooling fans fuse and relay.bad engine coolant temperature sensor will cause coolant fans not to turn on.if AC system not working with no refrigerant in the system cooling fans wont turn on when you turn on the AC.problem in PCM will cause fans not to turn on.

Does a 2003 grand am have a sensor for the cooling fan if yes where is the sensor located?

it is the coolant temp sensor, It also works with the HVAC system. using the high and low pressure swicthes in the AC system. The PCM camands the fan on and off with these sensors

No heat or ac blowing 2003 jeep grand cherokee

If nothing is blowing at all then you need to check the fuse, check voltage at the fan by turning on the switch if no voltage then the switch is bad, if voltage and no fan then the fan is bad.

Climate control switch does not work in lower modes only in high.

The pontiacs have an issue with the ignition switch, I have a 2001 grand prix that did the same. The ac fan would only work on 5 and the headlights would go off if on 1-4 replace the switch and all is fine.

Heat /ac fan doesn't work properly

Check the relay for the blower. it may be locked . tap it lightly or jiggle the relay or check with a known good relay.this two circuits may be interconnected. check the light relays as well and fuses.
