Cold weather squeal

Check your belts and pulleys. Belts should not be cracked and pulleys should turn freely with no noise.

When it is cold Idont here noise from front of engine all ready changed Altanator it sounds be low the Altanator

I have the impression that you are asking about a noise from the engine compartment. Most of the time a squealing noise is caused by the idle pulley bearings going bad. When this happens the pulley stops spinning and the belt going across it squeals. You will need to replace this pulley, and and or the tension pulley. Either one can cause this issue.

Engine makes squeeling noise when first started

Check the belts are still tight enough, sometimes they slacken off with use and then start to squeal, especially in cold/damp weather.

I just had my belts replaced on my 2004 Hyundai Elantra Sedan and it still squeals when i first start it up but goes away after i start driving. i added belt dressing spray and that helps but a week later...

check the tension. cheap belts will stretch. if after you retension them (especially the alternator belt) you may need to replace them with BANDO or OEM belts.

Serpentine belt squeals, especially when engine is cold. It stops when you get above 40 mph.

Make sure the tentioner is okay, and that the belt tention is good, but an old dry belt will squeal.

1997 dodge avenger 2.0, belt squealing

Hi

The Power Steering Belt tension requires adjustment, to give it more tension, to cure the slipping, resulting in the squealing, or perhaps renewal, due to cracking or excessive wear.

Your Power steering Belt, belt is your primary problem.

Good Luck !

A FixYa Would Be Nice, Thank´s......John.

I don't really want to say this but It seems that you may have installed a smooth belt instead of a ribbed belt on one of the components.
