Question about 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid

Can i put a 2005 honda civic battery in a 2006 hybird civic

Technican said the only difference was the height and about an inch in length. Are their other differences that can effect the performance of the car? Are their other differences besides the physical appereance. The battery is the one that starts the car and other electronics. It is not the big one that sits behind the back seat.

Yes you can use that battery as long as the terminals do not make contact with anything that would short out.

My tire size is 185/65 R 14. can I changed or put tire 195/60 R 15?

No ---not unless you put a 15" rims on the car. The tyre sizing reads like this
185 is the width of the rim from bead to bead in millimetres
the 65 is the profile height --- distance of the rim from the road surface
r is for radial
14 is the rim diameter in inches
now you can understand why a 15"tyre will not fit a14" rim

Tire size

Yes as long as u change the rims also not just the tires these numbers 195/60/15 195 is tire width 60 is tire height and 15 is rim size, most all Hondas will fit up to 215/35/18 with no rubbing issues on factory suspension ..... Every time the rim size changes u have change the height of the tire so it will fit some go as far as " stretching " the tire to allow larger rims or extreme offsets

How to adjust handbrake in honda civic coupe 2005

Do you mena the height of the handbrake?

If you take off the centre console where the handbrake is housed in you will see at the base of the handbrake 2 screws which have some cable running off them through to the rear of the car.

Tighten the screws (sorry i can't remember which direction) and test the hand brake as you go until you have the preferred height.

If you are talking about how to actually make the hand brake grip better, that is a rear brake issue and could be a whole heaps of things (brake booster, master cylinder, brake pads, calipers) etc - if you haven't noticed any issues wiht your brakes though it could be the cable length itself. Tightening it up and if you want any more info let me know integra79@gmail.com

What order do i plug the spark plugs into the distributor on 1989 honda civic 1.5L

The plug wires are different lengths for different spark plugs. The best way to not get messed up is to do one wire at a time. Unplug old wire from distributor and plug, compare it to the new ones, find the new one that is the same length and replace. You don't want to get the wires mixed up. Hope this helped.
