Trace the plugwires, if possible. if the engine has a cover over the top (like most manufacturers seem to love to do, nowadays), it will probably have to be removed first to see any engine components. use a good flashlight or shoplight to see better.

Spark Plugs, I have a 2005 GMC Canyon, Is it possible to change the spark plugs myself and where are they located? Thank you

Which engine?

Both of them will have what is called coil over ignition. There will be individual coils over each spark plug. The coils will be bolted to the center of the valve cover. Unplug the coils, unbolt them from the valve cover, and remove them. You will then be able to access the spark plugs.

Make sure you use the correct spark plug (a/c delco).

The spark plugs are located under the air intake resonater. The resonater is the C shaped plastic box that is between the air filter and throttle body.
