How do I change the fuel filter on a 2006/7 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.2 CRDT CDX safely?

There is no external type fuel filter on the Santa Fe. It is built into the fuel pump module in the tank, you rould have to remove your rear seat bottom cushions and get to the access plate and remove the pump module. Can be very time consuming if you have never done this before.

Is the location of the fuel filter in the fuel tank ?

Yes--- the fuel filter is located inside the fuel tank and can be accessed by removing the left rear seat and cutting the carpet to gain access to the gas tank access panel, etc. The filter is part of the fuel pump assembly. Recommended service is 52K.
I hope this helps.

WHERE IS THE FUEL FILTER LOCATED FOR THE SEDONA 2004

believe there is actually an access panel in front of the second row seat behind the drivers seat that you can access the top of the tank, fuel pump and possibly the fuel filter. Lift up the carpeting and check.
1. Remove the fuel tank cap to lower the fuel tank's internal pressure. 2. Locate access cover. 3. Remove the fuel pump & fuel filter assembly installation screws, then remove the fuel pump & fuel filter assembly from the fuel tank.

How do you replace the fuel filter in a 2003 Dodge Durango easiest way?

It is located on TOP of the tank. You will have to drop the tank, pull the filter/pressure regulator out of the rubber grommet on the top of the sending unit, and replace it with a new one. You will have to cut the old clamp off if no one has done it before, and replace it with a GOOD band type fuel injection hose clamp, not the cheap screw type ones that cut into the hose.

Where is the fuel filter on Chevrolet 1993 S-10 Blazer

Inline Filter Some trucks may have an inline filter. This is a can-shaped device located in the fuel line between the pump and the carburetor. It may be made of either plastic or metal.

Internal Filter

Two types of fuel filters are used, a bronze type and a paper element type. Filter replacement should be attempted only when the engine is cold.

Where is the fuel filter? on a 1988 mitsubishi mighty max

To locate the inline filter, follow the fuel line back from the throttle body. Inline filters are often mounted to the frame rail underneath the vehicle. It may be necessary to raise and safely support the vehicle using jackstands in order to access the filter.
  1. First, you MUST reduce the pressure in the fuel system; refer to Section 5 for this procedure.
  2. Unfasten the negative battery cable from the battery.
  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly; refer to the air cleaner filter removal procedure described earlier in this section.
  4. Using an open-end wrench to hold the fuel filter stationary, loosen the bolt for the banjo type connector on top of the fuel filter with a box wrench. Perform the same procedure to the inlet connector on the bottom of the filter.
  5. Remove the bolt or nuts attaching the filter to the bracket and remove it.

My 2004 Optima did nt have filter exactly. There is only a filter bag type device on the inlet to the fuel pump. The fuel pump is located in the gas tank and is accessed by rolling back the carpet in the trunk... I have 165K on mine and never changed this filter. No parts listed at NAPA or other store for filter. Just put some injector cleaner into the gas tank every mont and should be fine
