Question about Honda Odyssey

1 Answer

I was driving my 2008 Honda Odyssey on a long trip with heat and heated seats on. However, the climate control panel went dark, making it impossible to get any heat or a/c. Heated seat panels also won't work, and rear-view mirror camera won't work. I get the feeling all these are related, but don't know what fuse or relay handles all these. Any guidance?

Thank you. Yes, I've looked into the fuses, but cannot find one fuse that addresses all four things not working: heat, heated seats, digital outdoor temperature gauge on dash, and A/C. It appears that everything from the radio down is not turning on. Thanks for any additional guidance!

Update: I broke down and took it to the dealer because it was cold with no heat here in Ohio. They said the switch operating my mirrors was broken and whirring, which overloaded a fuse. Thanks!

SOURCE: heated and cooled seats quit working. won't work on either driver's or passanger's seats. checked the fuses and relays and they are all ok. what's wrong?

Remove fuses 10 and 11 in the underhood junction box. Leave out for 5 minutes then reinstall. If the seats start working your Zephyrs dual climate control seat module will need replaced.

SOURCE: heated seats in my 2004 navigator are not working

if the light doesnt come on for the heated seat, *sometimes* the electronics need to be reset. You do this by very carefully taking both battery poles off the battery entirely. Then touching the negative to the positive WHILE NEITHER IS TOUCHING THE BATTERY (this is very important otherwise you could get shocked). This will clear computer and reset it. Then reconnect the positive first. then the negative. this will sometimes work. This is only if the light for the heated seats is not coming on. If the light is coming on you probably need a new heater core.

Heat not working on drivers side dual climate control 2008 Honda Accord is it the bcm?

No. It is either the actuator/motor for the door. Or the climate controller, the part you turn to get heat. You can have the controller scanned for codes.

Lack of power, hesitation, climate control blowing hot air

Always check body grounds. You may have good power to the engine with a good ground still, but your body grounds control power to all else.

For 1996 Audi A4 2.8L SFI 6cyl the Flasher is located in front seating area, driver side, under dash, behind dash lower panel, mounted above driver side of steering column.

How do i replace instrument panel lights (heat and ac /fan info) on a 2005 honda odyssey

The center dashboard panel, which holds the climate control system, etc., must be gently pried up. Start at the bottom and work your way around. Once this is loose, disconnect the electrical connectors and the panel can be removed completely. The light bulbs are marked Gray and Black and are freed by a turning slightly. I think the only place you can get the bulbs is a Honda dealer.
