My engine is misfiring, especially under fast demand I started it one cold morning about 38 in Texas and it ran funny. It gets worse at 50 mph when it goes into overdrive and up an inclined highway.

The code that has been set is a crankshaft to camshaft correlation code. This code set if the distributor is out of sync with the crankshaft timing. Check the distributor gear very closely, it can become worn and create a timing issue for this engine.

That is known as limp home mode it sounds like you have a trans code you will need to have diagnosed.Sometimes getting the code cleared will take care of the problem until code sets again.

My 2003 Saab 9-3 drives sluggish.

Take your car to the dealer, local garage, auto parts store and get them to pull the code which should tell you exactly what the problem is. I would also check the transmission again and make sure it isn't leaking and is at the correct level. If the problem was low transmission fluid you still need to have the code "cleared" before the car will return to normal. Hope this helps.
