Take one off the other working door and go to home depot, lowes, or any place that has a nuts and bolt section they should have some also at any auto parts store.

On almost all GM's there will be a screw in the recess that the handle sits in. After removing this screw, gently wiggle this cup out of it's hole and there should be a metal rod attached to the back of it with a small clip. Unclip this and it's out - installation is the reverse. Just don't lose the clip or let the linkage rod fall down inside or you will have to remove the door panel. It shouldn't take five minutes to replace and most parts stores now carry GM door handle assemblies. Good Luck!

Testimonial: "Guru thanks, that worked. Panel off but can't access the back side of the exterior door handle to replace the screws that hold it on? Any ideas? "

Testimonial: "Thanks I thought it might be a cable or linkage. Much thanks"
Remove screw from inside door grab handle. Remove door panel by carefully prying out plastic clips. Drill or chisel off pop rivets holding the handle on. Pull handle out far enough to disconnect linkage and remove handle. Install new handle and secure to metal panel with new pop rivets or sheet metal screws. It may be easier to reconnect linkages by removing the metal panel also.
