Drained, past tense?
if you didnt use a voltmeter how would you even know its drained.
or was that just a guess?
the battery is charged if the voltage (rested) is 12.6vdc.
if not charge it.
if it keeps discharging, parked, that is called a phantom drain.
if it only discharges driving ,that is a bad charge SYSTem in car.
are the battery cable lugs clean (a standard service point)?

Honda civic alarm keeps going off for no reason

It could be the hood latch. Easy to disconnect just look behind the hood latch under the back edge of the plastic cover,. clipped into metal top frame. 2 pin connectors LT BLU + BLK=wire colors. Connector has a release tab to separate. press down and pull apart. Voila! When you lock the car, you will not hear your horn. Neighbors are happy and you get no more complains.

My alarm goes off every time for no reason . i tried turning it on today n it doesnt wanna turn on -_-. can the alarm drain my battery?

Yes this can drain the battery eventually. Try disconnecting the battery (negative terminal) and reconnnect and see if this helps. If not you may have a wire issue. Maybe bad ground.

Car unlocked but it sets the alarm ... car locked alarm goes for no obvious reason s type 4 liter.

Are you using the the keychain to lock unlock the vehicle? A low battery in the keychain will send wacky codes to your vehicle alarm system and will not set properly. Try using the key in the door to lock unlock vehicle. IF the alrm does not go off when using the key in the door, then you probably have to change the battery in the key chain. Best guess without being there to look at vheicle.

1998 Accord security system goes off for no reason and goes until battery drained. Horn has been disconnected for benefit of neighborhood. Cleaned and had battery checked by Batterys Plus and battery is...

The 98-02 accord do have hood latch problem that cause the alarm to go off like what you're having. One thing you can try is disconnecting the hood latch harness only(picture letter D). If everything turn back normal then you got a bad hood latch. You could replace latch or leave it unplug, it's up to you. Your alarm will work fine with it unplug. hope this helps you.k42282_2.jpg

I have a 2003 toyota corolla and the alarm goes off when the temp. drops to about 50 degrees F.

50 degrees and it's just sitting there or is it riding down the road? sounds like the battery is going down and as it goes below a certain voltage the alarm goes off. Show up at a parts store and have them test the battry and for a battery drain( draw09 a darw on the battery as the car is shut off. This may find the reason for the alarm going off.

Car alarm goes off for no reason

There is probably a reason...I would look for bad grounds. A good place to look is at the battery terminal. Clean them and if the problem still exist, I would have an experienced tech look at the unit itself.

97 bmw 528i factory alarm goes off for no reason

disable the hood microswitch. just unplug it. That and the cabin sensor are the most probably reasons the alarm will go off.
Alarms are useless. Totally effin useless. So it goes off.....then whaddya going to do. Shoot someone? Call the police? or listen to it drain the battery over and over again. can't disable the alarm totally. The bmw engineers have tied it into the main computer. you can however disable the sensors one by one so it doesn't set off the alarm. Hood sensor....Hood sensor....that's the culprit.
