Question about 2005 Chrysler Sebring Convertible
Keys locked n trunk
Just had this happen to me. All you have to do is go to the fuse box.
-Press and hold the trunk release
-Remove fuse #5 (for 2005; #6 for 2006)
-Wait 5 seconds
-Insert the removed fuse while still depressing the trunk release
-Press the trunk release once more.
This is all a timing issue since you're trying to trick the system to think the ignition is active. It may take a couple different tries, and if it is still not succeeding, consult your manual to ensure the correct fuse is being pulled.

You can remove seat back and reach in with a magnet or grabbers. there is structure so you will not be able to crawl back there like some sedans. the seat back attaches with hooks and tabs. you have to pull out on one end, then the other end, then up.

ok try this take the negative wire off the battery overnight then come back and rehook up the negative if this does not work ur best bet is to have it towed to a dealer or if there is a sears in that mall they might be able to help the reason the car keeps cutting off is it the alarm is sending a signal to the fuel pump witch in turn is starving the engine of gas

Does the back seat fold down? If so you may be able to get into the trunk from the back seat. Check to see if a fuse is blown for the remote trunk latch. The owner's manual should help to see if there is a fuse for it.

All gas charged supports are not created equal. I recommend using O.E. for this application.
Snow, ice and trapped water make the lid heavier than it should be make sure these are not the issue.
